Veena Malik plays double role in Daal Mein Kuch Kala Hai

Veena Malik is really going gaga in the film industry. She has started getting in Bollywood what she dreamt of it prior to stepping into India. The controversial babe, about whom there are talks that she gets works through controversies, has been riding high in Hindi cinema since the outset. Her name now sells – this she knows pretty well. And to make her name more strapping, she keeps on creating the controversies. We have seen this hot babe in few item songs which she has done so far in films – the more noticeable is ‘Channo’ that she did for the movie ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ starring Akshaye Khanna in main lead.
Veena is now being considered hot for the item songs and she even has chipped in that leading heroines of the film industry have to do item songs. She said so in response of Hema Malini’s comment about leading heroines to stay away from the item songs. Well, what Hema said that was her own version and thinking. She was right but as the time is of item songs and every leading babe of cinema has been doing so. And most importantly every heroine wants and asks the filmmaker for a special item song. Thus in this scenario, Veena seems right.
Veena’s debut Bollywood film ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaal Hai’ is all set to hit the screens on June 29th all over. And she is super excited for her Bollywood debut. The movie stars Veena Malik in double role. Apart from Veena, Jackie Shroff, Shakti Kapoor, Vijay Raaz and Raja Chaudhary are featured in this flick. Veena will also be seen in an item song ‘Madam Malai’ in this movie.
Anand Balraj, the director of the movie, is also making his Bollywood debut with this film. Lets wish Veena good luck.

Teri Meri Kahaani Movie Review

Romantic films have always been the central focus of Bollywood industry since the inception of the Indian filmdom. The trend is strong even in today’s time as well due to the fact that the audiences love watching the romantic stuff on celluloid. Whenever a movie is visualized by the filmmaker, the initial concept hits the mind is about making a romantic film. Why? Obviously, because it is a time and tested formula to make a successful movie on. But not every romantic movie runs at the box office – the ones which do well at the ticket window are the ones which carry good content. Kunal Kohli too makes his journey of Teri Meri Kahaani with a subject of romance but the man brings an innovative plot to churn out a different film for the entertainment of the audiences.
Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani revolves around three different eras – 1910, 1960 and 2012. No doubt, it is a unique idea ever used in Hindi cinema. It is pleasing for the masses. The movie has been making bigger ripples among the Hindi film lovers and without any single doubt, the movie’s curiosity was high with the moviegoers due to the subject matter only.  In addition to the story, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s pairing too developed the liking for the movie.
Kunal Kohli’s film career has been goo so far though two of his directed movies – Mujhse Dosti Karogee and Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic could not make any mark with the cine-lovers. But rest of his films did remarkably well at the box office letting the world know his creativity as a luminous director.
With Teri Meri Kahaani, Kunal once again shows the world his dexterity of being a brilliant storyteller. He brings up the unique story idea to chew up a movie. The film has potential to bind the viewers to the screen till the last frame. The screenplay and direction have power to allure the viewer. Kunal’s Teri Meri Kahaani is a triple-treat tale of romance that knits the three stories spanning over three different eras into one single film.
Teri Meri Kahaani is a saga of the journey of eternal love between a couple who raised claims to be in love with each other not only in this life but in each and every life to come up. The love between the couple is much strapping that the fate is bound to bring them together. In 1910, amidst the freedom movement in Punjab, Javed (Shahid Kapoor), a Muslim boy starts loving crazily to Aaradhana (Priyanka Chopra). In 1960, Govind (Shahid Kapoor), a music composer, loses his heart to the successful actress Rukhsar (Priyanka Chopra). In present time (2012), the love story moves to England where the love takes place between Radha (Priyanka) and Krissh (Shahid). Is it a destiny or what that the couple meets in three different eras to rekindle their love but the couple fails to take their love to conclusiveness?  Will the love win over destiny?
The story idea is really catchy and unique – Kunal Kohli deserves brawny marks for it. Screenplay by Robin Bhatt is exceptional though somewhere in between the pace of the movie gets lethargic such as in 2012’s story, the saga begins to be idle for the viewer soon but then gets momentum later.
Kunal Kohli’s direction is first rate. The adroit filmmaker has executed the story brilliantly on celluloid. Sunil Patel’s cinematography is a class to watch it. Editing is awesome. Sajid-Wajid’s music is spongy. The tracks like ‘Allah Jaane’ and ‘Mukhtsar’ are mind boggling and make brilliantly soothing hearing.
Shahid Kapoor delivers the goods with such finesse that the viewers will surely like his acting in this movie. The three characters were performed with luminosity by him. In particular, he looks much handsome in the role of Javed. Shahid may now dream of winning the trophies for his marvelous piece of acting.
Priyanka Chopra is a delicious treat to watch. She too does fine job by enacting the three characters with conviction. Her role of a Punjabi girl will be liked more by the audiences. She is a classy actress of today’s Bollywood time – there is no doubt about it.
Prachi Desai looks stunning in cameo role. Neha Sharma goes well with the role. Surendra Pal is appealing.

Actor Ajay Devgn, whose name has cropped up in a case filed in a local court by Nagpur-based distributor over theatre rights of 'Bol Bachchan', has denied his involvement in it saying they have not cheated anyone. "It is ridiculous. The matter is in court and with the
association...he is saying something, we are saying something.

So whoever is right...the right thing will be done," Ajay told PTI. "If he has one point then we also have one point. I don't want to talk about it as the matter is in court. We have not cheated anybody," the actor said.

A Nagpur-based distributor filed a civil case against actor and co-producer Ajay Devgn for his upcoming film 'Bol Bachchan' and Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd in a local court, alleging that the producers went in for a deal with another company by dishonouring the one struck with him last year, for the film's all-India theatre rights.

He moved local court seeking stoppage of film release and refund of the token money. Appu Wadhwani, the distributor running a company Hira Laxmi Amusement Private Ltd, had entered into an agreement with the producers for all-India theatre rights (distribution)
last year for Rs 53.20 crore and had paid a token money of Rs 1.01 crore. But the deal fell through.

The producers later entered into a fresh deal with Fox Star Studios. "We have been requesting him to come to the association and solve the matter but he is not coming. He can claim whatever he wants. The matter is in court. There are two issues in it. I am not involved in this," Ajay said. "It is there between him and Ashtavinayak, there are different issues...both have filed case in the court. Nobody is cheating anybody. The court will decide and whatever they decide will be done," he added.

Leading actors refused to star in "Kai Po Che": Director

Director Abhishek Kapoor, who is adapting Chetan Bhagat's book "3 Mistakes of My Life" for the big screen, says leading Bollywood actors refused to be a part of "Kai Po Che" because it is a multi-starrer. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput of "Pavitra Rishta" fame, "Love Sex And Dhokha" actor Raj Kumar Yadav, TV actor Amit Sadh and "Aisha" actress Amrita Puri.
Kapoor said he initially approached few big stars for his movie but was turned down by them because they didn't want to star in a three hero film.
"Initially I tried to get some big names on board but they all had some apprehensions because they didn't want to work in three-hero film. Especially the younger lot as they
are so vulnerable - they think 'If I do this film then what will be my future?'," Kapoor told PTI.

However, the "Rock On" director is glad he didn't spend much time running behind the stars and is satisfied with his choice of actors. "I wouldn't change the script to suit anyone. They are three friends and they should be equal. It should not be that one is a hero and other two are flunkies. Big actors are not authorities on what is a good film or bad film. I can't decide
my career trajectory based on what stars want.
"If you want to work with stars then you should make movies which they like... I want to make movies which I like. I can't do everything for money and short term. I would like
my movie to be appreciated 50 years down the line," he said. The film is set in Gujarat and follows the story of three boys - Ishaan, Omi and Govind.

Kapoor said that although the movie is based on Bhagat's novel he has changed about 50-60 per cent of the story line. "It is based on Chetan's book but to change a book to screenplay is a huge process. The adaptation takes a while and a lot of changes are made." PTI
